Garibi Hatao! The newage Poverty Alleviation tools!  New social contract needed, new socio-economic awakening!  Garibi Hatao was a flagship slogan in the yesterday government of the Congress Party. Poverty even today remains a dark spot on the wide variety of economic growth led narrative today. Governments by Congress remains focussed on new economic thinking and sensitive social security benefits. Rights based policies and trust in the society have been key for the total development in the marginalized communities. Poverty Alleviation under Congress was enormous and good redistribution via robust economic growth was outstanding balance to all indians both rich or poor.  Vichar Vibhag UPCC remains key to spread awareness on poverty alleviation by Congress led Governments. Do we need more of NAM today!  Recollecting Nehruvian policy of NAM!  As we inspire to lead in a broken world, in a war torn world, we need a new bright thinking to solve the crisis. Nehru envisaged Non Alignment Movement (NAM) at a very critical moment in history.  Even today the relevance of NAM is key and pertinent to the world peace and prosperity.  We may not fall in trap of supporting the two fighting power blocks of US vs Russia or US vs China, we may adopt newage strategic autonomy and new common path of peace loving world.  Let's remember Nehru and NAM today. Union Budget and its wide public welfare aspirations!  Union Budgets presented by various successive Congress led Union Governments has had significant budgetary allocations for core industrial development.  Five year plans gave boost to industrial development and new business opportunities by focusing new avenues of investments and capital expenditure. Allocations under MGNREGA, under Right to Food, PDS etc. gave directions in efforts in poverty alleviation and holistic development. Efforts in SEZ, high economic growth, ease of doing business etc. gave focus to big business development opportunities. Social Security programs and clean corporate governance in policies gave true potential to innateness for economic development. Aadhar, pro-poor farm policies and Swaminathan Commission report's recommendations gave way for clean agricultural improvements.  Total focus was on a better India for all.
